My Mom passed away but my dad is still alive is there any way we can change the name to his? We would still like to continue using this internet service.

user_8mu0jp Extremely sorry to hear about your moms passing. I lost my dad a few years ago, and it was very tough. It is a fairly easy process to get that moved over to your dads name.

How to Transfer Ownership of the Account:

If you want to keep the service active and take over the account (such as a surviving spouse):

Go to the Xfinity Account Change Request Page or visit a local Xfinity Retail Store.

Choose the option to Transfer account ownership to yourself.

Fill out the required information about the deceased and yourself.

Upload the requested documentation (such as a death certificate or a valid government-issued ID like a driver's license or U.S. passport) and accept the Terms & Conditions
