CRITICAL OUTSIDE PLANT FAILURE: Upstream 59 dBmV & Water Ingress (Noblesville, IN)
Hello Xfinity Forum Team,
I need this case escalated directly to Area Line Maintenance and Regional Network Engineering. Despite multiple technician visits and 100% replacement of all customer-premise hardware (modem, indoor wiring, pedestal drop, and pole riser), my service is suffering from chronic, weather-driven outside plant failure.
Real-time diagnostics captured during today's rain event show:
-
Upstream Power Pinned: All upstream channels are saturated at 59.0 dBmV as the CMTS forces maximum transmission power to overcome line resistance.
-
Massive Packet Corruption: Uncorrectable codeword errors have surged to over 1.67 billion on Channel 28.
-
Isolated Outside Plant Fault: A side-by-side control comparison with a neighboring line on the same node shows 0.00% packet loss, proving my premise wiring is clean and the defect is entirely in the street tap or feeder hardline.
All customer-side variables are exhausted. A line maintenance bucket truck and physical plant audit are urgently required to inspect, dry, and repair the tap enclosure on Wagon Trail Dr.
Thank you,
Jeff [Edited: "Personal Information"]
