credit escalation closed with no explanation ecm0025707953 I am requesting a review of ticket ECM0025707953,

I am requesting a review of ticket ECM0025707953, which Xfinity closed today as a “Credit Escalation.”

I am not primarily concerned about the amount of the credit. My concern is how this matter was handled.

Xfinity repeatedly confirmed to me that my technician appointment was 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. I relied on those confirmations and waited during that entire period. The technician ultimately arrived at approximately 1:45 PM. When he arrived, he explained that his actual appointment window had always been 1:00–3:00 PM, and that he had never been scheduled for 10:00–12:00. He told me that the discrepancy was caused by Xfinity's scheduling system.

Therefore, the technician was not at fault. The problem was that Xfinity repeatedly communicated an appointment window to me that did not correspond to the technician's actual dispatch window.

I was subsequently told that my complaint would be escalated. Today I received the following message:

“Your ticket ECM0025707953 regarding your Credit Escalation has been closed. No further action is required.”

That message provides absolutely no explanation of the resolution. It does not say whether a credit was approved or denied, whether anything was done to address the scheduling failure, or why Xfinity considers the matter resolved.

I then had to authenticate myself and go through the ticket process simply to obtain essentially no information.

I am asking for a substantive response explaining what was actually determined and what action was taken on this escalation. This is about the way Xfinity handled the customer and the complaint, not the dollar value of a credit.
