Costs for using Xfinity Mobile while in Europe
I am an Xfinity Mobile customer using a By-the-Gig plan. Unfortunately I have a very difficult time understanding exactly what I would pay when traveling in Europe. I do not wish to buy the Global Pass plan as I am traveling for 90 days and this would get very expensive. So I am left with the Pay-as-you-go option. I have a few specific questions that I cannot find answers to on the Xfinity international web pages. I am considering getting an eSIM for data but I want to truly understand what I would be paying for using voice and texts on Xfinity (roaming). This has my brain very challenged. Thank you for any assistance!
1. On the international page it tells me that I would pay 30 cents per MB for data within Germany. It says texts and calls are unlimited but does this really mean they are FREE. I mean completely free? If I make calls to Berlin while in Munich would those calls be FREE? And what about calling a different European country while in Europe? I cannot find any per minute rates on voice calls between European countries. Free?
2. What about making calls from Europe to the U.S. while in Europe? Are those free? (free as distinct from "unlimited")
3. What about incoming calls? Are calls from European numbers free for me to receive while in Europe? And calls from the USA?
4. I have the same questions about texts. Are they really free? Doesn't it take "data" to send a text? Free to text within Europe? Free to text the U.S. from Europe?

On the Xfinity Mobile By the Gig plan, all data usage over cellular, including streaming, downloads, and hotspot usage, counts towards your monthly data allowance. The best link for you to review would be https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/traveling-internationally for questions with traveling internationally. @user_p7t22q
