Contract end date

I have a one year contract signed 12/15/2022. My current bill says I have a contract until January 4th. I need to know the real end date of my contract.

Great question! Sometimes when promotions or contracts are signed/agreed to the services are set up for a time shortly in the future. For example, you may have ordered your services on 12/15/22, but your first day of services may not have been till January 4th. We would use the day your services started as the first day of your agreement this allows time for equipment to be received as well as any installation to happen. With that, the date listed on your bill as the date your promotion ends would be the correct date for when your contract/agreement ends.

So if I decide to end my contract, to do it without penalty I would have to wait until January 4th, correct? Can I prospectively end my service? Just looking at options.

@zorrofish I definitely understand wanting to be prepared, so thank you for asking! That is correct your last day of service under that your contract/agreement would be the 4th. If you did happen to end early since any ETF if you have one is reduced by $10.00 a month in most cases your last month you would only have $10.00 left if you did need to discontinue services before the 4th.
