Continuous request via text to 'return equipment' when equipment doesn't belong to Xfinity
Good morning,
I upgraded our plan to include a modem from Xfinity. The reason I'm writing in, is that I continually get this text from Xfinity:
Hi, Xfinity here. Reminder: Return your UNUSED Xfinity equipment today to reduce your monthly bill & protect the environment. https://xfinity.com/returns Txt help or stop
Msg&DataRatesMayApply.
With that being said, the modem we had been using is ours, not Xfinity property. Is there anyway to make these texts stop? I've TRIED to use the Xfinity assistant and it's just not smart enough to get me to the correct place to take care of this issue.
Thanks.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" If necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".
Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
