Continued daily outages
I’ve been a customer for a while, mainly because Xfinity is the only internet provider available in my area. I work from home, so having reliable internet is essential. For the past 4–5 days, my service has been repeatedly cut off, disrupting my job.
I contacted customer service, and they assured me in writing that these outages would not continue and that I would be receiving updated equipment. Yet the issue keeps happening.
To put this in perspective: I work from home to pay my bills. Every outage costs me about $100–$150 in lost income. That may not seem like much to a large company, but it adds up. I can’t make up missed hours, and I’m forced to work longer days instead of resting. It affects my livelihood. On top of that, my security system goes offline, which makes me feel unsafe.
I cannot afford to be out of work because of unreliable service. This needs to be fixed immediately, or Xfinity needs to compensate me for the time and income lost.
Customers like me rely on you. We’re the ones who suffer when your service fails. Please make this right.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Greetings, @user_DeeA108! Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your service, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.
