Contacting customer service

Anyone know why it says on the app & online that you can chat with someone live 24/7, but then when you try it says they don't have anyone available? Also, whenever I have a question about my bill they try to push more services on me? Then when I want to change something on my bill, they offer different packages then completely change the wrong thing on the plan & create a new "contract"? I think this company is one big scam, the bills keep going up & you can NEVER get a hold of someone. I'm going to report them to the BBB & switch to a different provider!

My apologies for the inconvenience. Our department operates from 6 AM - 12 AM EST/3 AM - 9 PM PST on the community forums. The Xfinity Assistance and chat may have operated at different hours. For your billing issues, could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
