Contacting Customer Service
This isn't a question, but I spent a lot of time on the phone, facebook message and other chat options that never connected me to a person. The automated line would start over playing the same recorded msgs and asking the same questions over and over. So I had the same issue a lot of others have posted and complained about. I know I've been able to communicate in the past but couldn't remember how I had done it easily because it wasn't this frustrating.
The Xfinity app on my phone. That was the answer, there's a chat that starts with the same AI as the XFinity site, but easily connects you to a live agent. I was worried she wouldn't be able to cancel some of the services but she was great and did what I needed. I wanted to keep internet and cancel/change others that I didn't need and cost to much. Hopefully this'll help others
