Construction Department Delay Adding Address

I am looking for a way to expedite my service request. I need the internet to do my job. I moved into a new home 2 weeks ago and started the process of having my address added into the comcast system. I live in a row of townhomes. All cables have already been laid and buried in the ground. There is a coax cable inches from the cable coming from my home. Two of the homes in my row have already had their cables connected and are receiving service. I am being told there is nothing to do but wait and no way to contact the construction department, which literally needs to do nothing, because everything has already been done, which is evident by the other homes already having service installed. Can someone please tell me if there is another way to expedite this issue. To reiterate: NO CONSTRUCTION NEEDS TO BE DONE AT MY HOME.

The solution was to file a complaint with the FCC and it was resolved the next day. I had an appointment and functioning internet 2 days later.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to actual Comcast employees for assistance.

Comcast is currently, right now, installing service on the third house in my row of seven. I can't even get my address added. Something is wrong. Someone messed up somewhere. Please somebody help me get my address added into the system. Based on the scheduling on the site, I'm at least looking at another week before I can get service installed once my address is even added.
