Construction Crew Peaced Out Without a Fix

my wifi cable was cut through by the local water department during a recent dig in my street. i had a fantastic consecution crew come out to help, but they couldn't fix the issue without the water department's help. the crew told me they would do a patch fix and come back when they could schedule a more permeant fix. However, it's been two weeks and they all went radio silent. no one is returning my calls or texts - the construction foreman's name was Sami - he was fantastic. he gave me his number and told me to reach out. but now he's not returning any of my calls. it's so frustrating. i want this fixed so i can move on, but not sure what to do. i don't think talking to someone in india is going to cut it. i want to talk to the crew who has already been working on this - not a totally net new team.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello user_aytwka 👋 Thanks for stopping by to connect with us! Above all, we never want you to be without internet service for any amount of time, so we'll do everything we can to help get that line restored 👍 To confirm where we're at now, are your in-home internet services still being impacted as a result of the cut line, and it was our own local Xfinity teams that were waiting on cooperation from the water company that cut the line?

Yes. It’s strapped to the exterior wall and is running over the roof

Got it, and thanks. They're usually removed within two business weeks. When was the order submitted for the repair?

The original call to xfinity about my WiFi not working was two weeks ago today. Friday will be two weeks since the crew was out. I haven’t heard anything since them. The construction crew was supposed to follow up within a day but never heard back and the foreman isn’t returning my calls or texts.

In that case, we can definitely start the process of passing this along to the needed local teams to get things fixed asap 👍 Please send us a direct chat message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the full service address associated with your account to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
