Connections Down Several Times In The Past Few Days Hingham MA

Connections dropped (to both TV and Internet) for several times in the past few days.  Some Outages last for 5-20 minutes while one last evening lasted close to 90 minutes.  Checked all coax connections inside and out.  Also spoke with neighbors who have had the same thing happen to them. The Xfinity Outage Map is useless as it never shows a problem.  We are back up now and hopefully will not have any more drops for a while.

Not sure why this got moved by Xfinity to the Customer Service section since it was a report/complaint about recent service outages.

longwave Thanks for creating a post. Since all services are being impacted, as well as your surrounding neighbors, it sounds like there may be some distortion or degradation in the network lines or local node. That can come from worn or damaged connectors or lines leading to your home or the area node, which may not actually appear as a full reported interruption if it is a shorter timeframe. Have you had a technician come out and check on your services and the outside lines recently?

I have not had a tech come out and check things out.  I will probably set one up for sometime in the next week or so since I'll be on the road at times this week.  I was going to reseal the coax connection again where it comes into the house but it looks fine and since other's in my area are having the same issue I'll just let the tech handle it.   Thank you .
