confirm what a technician did at a recent appointment

how can I confirm if a technician fixed anything at a recent appointment - he said there is a problem outside the house and then never came back.  Internet has been down or intermittent for 3 weeks now.  I have tried customer service number and the chat assistant a million times - all troubleshooting has been done, including having Xfinity replace the modem this week.  Still no service, no outages reported, status page shows everthing is fine but no service.
