Completely Recovery Corporation scam?
I returned my modem to the Brighton Michigan Xfinity store on March 9th, 2025. On March 26th and then again today April 7th, I received emails from Complete Recovery Corporation stating I had equipment I needed to return (a streaming box?). I never got anything outside of my modem and I returned that. I do not want to get changed for something I don’t have? Is this a scam??
I came again today to the Brighton store in person and they said they do not see any additional items on my account.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_cc7kd0. I will be happy to take a look at any equipment question on that account from here for you. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
