Completely lied to

In April my data started to jump up. In May it went over 1.5 gb when normally I hardly pass 80gb. I have called multiple times and was told to change my password and all the other run around stuff they give you. I was told the last

time I called on june 2 2024 that they had a promotion that would lower my bill from 91 to 80 a month with 1000mbps, and it would include unlimited data. When I read over the new promotion it didn't say anything about unlimited data, I mentioned it to the agent and told him it didn't say anything he said "rest assured it will get unlimited data. I triple checked with him 3 times that's what I would be receiving, he said yes. It's now July and I still don't have it. I called in and they said the agent gave me false information and that when he sent me the new contract it didn't say that. I explained the situation and they refused to help. Why should I have to pay $30 for unlimited data when something isn't right with my data. Considering the fact that I am not the only one who is having this jump in data. Also why should I have to pay extra now when I was told I would get unlimited data for the price he quoted me. It's a shame agents can lie to you and as a customer have to suffer because they lied. I even told them to go back and listen to the call to confirm what I was saying since they record them for quality insurance purposes. Why do they record them if they aren't using them. It's sad with as much business and money they make, they can't honor what I was offered. I would have never accepted the new change to my plan if he didn't lie and say I was going to get unlimited data, just for it not to be true.

@user_v03bc6 Welcome to our community forum! I know I'd be upset if I was promised one thing and given another, so thank you for bringing this to our attention and giving us the opportunity to make things right.
Customers who use their own modem can add unlimited data for $30.00 per month. Customers who rent a modem can bundle the rental price along with unlimited data (called xFi Complete) for $25.00 per month. We offer promotions on this xFi Complete bundle, but not on unlimited data by itself.

I do not know if you record your conversations but if you do this all could be proven.if I knew about it,why would I continue on pay an extra 100 on overage instead of switching to unlimited. I wasn't going over once in awhile I was going over almost always 100 but sometimes 50 rarely.

People reading this constantly ask questions if there's a better way w your plan. And keep records and ask over and over just incase first answer was a lie because they will purposely keep you blind to get more money and then telk you  your [Edited: Language]when you confront them. May I say I have never ever asked fir a credit in my life before this isn't a thing but I did feel I deserved this one
