Completely lied to for personal gain
The person I spoke with, she said her name was Sara [Edited: "Personal Information"] at [Edited: "Personal Information"]. The only reason I called was to update my autopay information. Sara Joseph informed me that my contract needed to be renewed if I wanted to keep the $50 price. I told her it's a 3 year contract and it shouldn't need to be renewed. She stated that it "ended early" and "think about this calmly, wouldn't it be better to pay $100 for November and then it will go back to $50. I told her no that's not right, it is $50 a month for the whole 3 years and I have about 2 years left. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said that he is not available, and that if I don't renew it today, that my bill we will be $115. I told her "I only called you to update my autopay information, so if there is any issue I will talk to my local office. I immediately went to Xfinity in Lynchburg, VA. They looked up my account and assured me that my contract is up in 2026 and I pay around $50, and this [Edited: "Personal Information"] did not give me the right information.

Hi there, @user_ojpw8a ! Thank you so much for reaching your Digital Care team. I appreciate your patience while you waited to connect with me. Oh no, I'm very sorry for the experience. I know how frustrating it is to be told 1 thing and then be told something different in regards to the promotion that was offered to you. Please be assured you reached the right person to assist you. Can you please DM me your first and last name, along with your full service address so that I can assist you further.-Richard
