Completed Work ?

Hi, I'd like to know if this is finished work . The main cable line that goes from the green pedastel to my house, is wrapped around a tree, and is breaking. So a technician came out to

look at it. Then a guy came and marked the yard with orange and blue spray paint and put flags down. A couple weeks after that, a 2 man crew came and dug a 2 inch wide and about 2 inches deep trench and laid an orange cable inside it, that goes from the green pedastel to the splitter on my house. However, there are only black cables going into the splitter, and not sure where the orange cable ends, I only see orange tubing. The cable around the tree is still there, and it seems like it's still connected. There are spots along the trench where you can see the orange cable sticking out. By the pedastel it looks like there is orange line going underneath. I want to know if this is finished work or if someone is coming back out to at least fill the trench with dirt, or if this looks completed. The flags are still in my yard.

The concern is not "Community Knowledge Base" related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @dan810 thank you for taking time to reach out over Xfinity Forums. You've contacted the right place for assistance, and would be happy to help with the bury line concern. From experience, I've seen the orange lines are typically a temp line, that is replaced by the black line when burying is completed. I appreciate all the information and photos, those are helpful. I'd like to review your account to see if the work order is still open, if not I can reach out to our team who performs the line bury work to review.

Since I will need to gather some information that we don't want here in our public conversation, when you have time please send a direct message.
