Complete Recovery Corporation is a scam

and probably a front for Xfinity illegally scamming its own customers. How else would CRC have gotten my account number and name? I returned all equipment then got a scammy looking email from CRC saying I needed to return a mini cable box, even though the account was for VOIP phone only. There are 1000 more messages like mine in this forum.  Xfinity - I'm reporting you to the Better Business Bureau for your slimy and illegal practices. Here's the email:

On behalf of Xfinity, we would like to thank you for being a valued customer. We would like to help you with your Xfinity equipment listed below that must be returned.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
