"Complete Recovery Corporation" asking to return non-existent equipment
I recently moved and cancelled my internet service. I have received emails and phone calls from "Complete Recovery Corporation" requesting that I return equipment that I never had. They indicate I need to return "Cable Equipment" but I never had cable service. I only had internet service and I used my own modem and router (I even self-installed). When I check the xfinity Digital Return Center there is no equipment listed for me to return.
Is "Complete Recovery Corporation" legitimate or is it spam? How do I verify with xfinity that I don't have any equipment to return?
