complaints
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the electricity went out at my parents' house. When the electricity came back on the modem wasn't working so my parents had no phone, internet or tv. My mother needed to call an ambulance for my father to take him to the hospital but she had no phone (they are 92 and 93 and they don't have a cell phone). She had to walk across the street to the neighbor's house for them to call for an ambulance. I called Comcast trying to get someone out to their house to fix their service so they weren't without a phone at least.
I got no help from Comcast; all I got was the runaround. Here we are 3 days later and my mother who is 93 is in a house with NO PHONE, and NO TV. God forbid she needs to call an ambulance for anything. After being on the phone for 3 hours with Comcast Wednesday night, getting transferred from one person to another explaining the urgency of the situation, I finally chatted with someone who finally set up an appointment for a technician. The APPOINTMENT IS SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 BETWEEN 12 AND 2. This is ridiculous. So by the time a technician shows up (if one shows up at all) my parents will be without a PHONE AND TV for almost 5 days. Is this how you run your company? An elderly person should not be without the basics of phone service for one day let alone 5 days.
