Complaint
I had submitted this earlier with supporting images but it was privatized and I do not want to wait any further.
...
On this day of 24th of July 2026, I am writing on behalf of the account owner, as I am their son.
I am formerly writing this complaint for Xfinity and their parent company Comcast for failing to provide communication updates in regards to whether or not they will repair the low hanging wires outside of my house as well as failing to provide the necessary repairs.
There seems to have been a metal wire supporting the black wires, but the structural integrity of said metal wire has been compromised and either weakened over time or snapped at some point in time and now the black wires are sagging. The severity has reached a point where the wires hang at a point that is roughly six to seven feet above the sidewalk. Before it reached this point, I had submitted tickets, of which seemingly nothing came about.
An FPL Technician came by and notified us of the issue and communicated that we notify either Xfinity/Comcast or AT&T. They also notified us that the metal wire that is hanging on the ground is non-conductive.
I have contacted both ISP providers, and the wiring belongs to Comcast, Xfinity's parent company. The tag that the technician left also states this.
As of this writing, I have submitted four tickets, neither of which have done nothing to fix this issue. Also ironic that a neighborhood adjacent to mine had maintenance and seemingly ignored my neighborhood. The date of the maintenance was Jul 14, 2026.
The dates of the tickets and their corresponding numbers are as follows:
Jul 06, 2026 - #ECM0023179924
Jul 08, 2026 - #ECM0023257522
Jul 11, 2026 - #ECM0023350828
Jul 20, 2026 - #ECM0023616350
All I ask is that Xfinity/Comcast repair this issue before the black wires get damaged, as the metal wire is now sagging too low to the driveway and as mentioned above, the black wires are now six to seven feet above the sidewalk.
I will give three days for the company to respond to this complaint before I communicate to local authorities and escalate this situation further.
