Complaint
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the suspension of my internet service and the lack of assistance I have received despite being a long-time customer who has consistently dealt with service issues without complaint.
Over the past several weeks, I have experienced repeated outages that directly affected my ability to work. Despite these interruptions—none of which were caused by me—I continued to pay my bill and did not request compensation or credits for the inconvenience.
Now, due to circumstances outside my control, I requested a simple two-week extension and clearly informed your representatives that I do not get paid until the 19th. If I had the funds sooner, I would have already made the payment. Instead of working with me, Xfinity chose to suspend my service entirely, leaving me unable to work and worsening the situation the outages have already caused.
The refusal to provide a short extension, combined with poor service quality and frequent outages, is unacceptable. I am extremely dissatisfied with how this situation has been handled, and I am prepared to escalate this matter further if necessary, including filing complaints with regulatory agencies and seeking legal advice regarding the repeated service failures and the financial losses caused by the suspension.
At this point, I expect the following:
- Immediate restoration of my internet service
- A review of my account and consideration for the extension I requested
- Credits for the outages I experienced while still paying full price for service
I hope this can be resolved quickly and professionally. I look forward to your prompt response.
