Complaint
Our internet went out on Wednesday morning due to a thunderstorm. The earliest I could get a technician here was late Friday afternoon. He came and we had internet for about 8 hours and now it's out again. So clearly, he didn't completely fix the issue. This has happened to us several times over the years. We've been told it is because our service is at the end of "the line", so when we get a bad thunderstorm, our internet goes out. I'm really annoyed that I have to wait another 3 days until a technician can get here on Tuesday morning. We've been Comcast customers for 20 years, faithfully pay our bill on time. I'd like more timely service. I'd like you to fix the problem the first time, or maybe even fix the bigger problem of this recurring issue.

The most effective way to get outage updates for your area and information about your service is to visit xfinity.com/outage or use the Xfinity app.
If you are also a Comcast Business customer you can visit business.comcast.com/myaccount or use the Comcast Business app.
In the meantime we do recommend to also continue checking for available hotspots. You can visit the Xfinity app or xfinity.com/wifi to see a map of available Xfinity WiFi hotspots. All open hotspots, both indoor and outdoor, will appear on the map.
If this is a recurring issue and when you check for interruptions you see that it shows none in the area, we can also take a deeper dive into the signals and check for any other issues in the area that may not be reported as an interruption. To do so if you could please send us a direct message with your full name and service address.
