Complaint Regarding Internet Installation and Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with my Xfinity installation experience.
I was promised a simple setup, but instead spent over 1.5 hours on customer support calls. A technician visited but could not fix the issue. I was then told another appointment had been scheduled, but I never received any confirmation by email or text.
I later scheduled an appointment and was told a technician would arrive on Thursday and call 30 minutes before arrival. I stayed home and missed work time waiting, but no one showed up. When I called again, I was informed that the appointment details I had been given were not even possible, meaning I had been misinformed again.
When a technician finally arrived on Sunday, I was told access to the electrical box was required. Had I been informed earlier, I could have arranged access through my leasing office, which is closed on Sundays.
This entire process has wasted my time, work hours, energy, and money. The repeated misinformation and lack of communication from customer support have been unacceptable.
I expect Xfinity to review this situation and provide an appropriate resolution.
