Complaint: Misinformed by Store Staff & Denied Student/New Customer Promotions
Hi, I’m writing because I’m extremely upset about receiving incorrect information from your store staff.
Since last year to July 2026, I had an account under my name for my roommates and me. When I opened it in-store, your rep explicitly told me that Xfinity had NO student discounts, so I paid full price and received no new customer promotions, bonuses, or perks.
I recently moved to a new place. While checking your website to compare internet prices, I saw that student discounts, new customer promos, and prepaid cards are clearly offered. I feel completely cheated and misled because your staff gave me nothing.
Given this misrepresentation, I am looking for a fair remedy from Xfinity regarding the missed promotions

Xfinity does offer special pricing and deals for eligible students after student status verification. You can learn more and review current offers on our Xfinity Student Deals page. Customers can also shop available offers online at any time to see the latest promotions and pricing available in their area.
While we would not provide compensation for a plan that was selected at its standard retail price rather than as part of a promotional offer, we do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. You can dispute a charge if Xfinity does not have email, text, or online confirmation that the charge was approved by you or another authorized user on your account. You must dispute a charge within 120 days of when it shows on your bill. We'd be happy to gather additional details about what occurred and ensure your feedback is submitted to the appropriate team for review. Your input helps us better understand the customer experience and identify opportunities for improvement. Please send us a Direct Message.
