Complaint about resolving a maintenance issue from a power outage

Hello so we had a power outage that happened early Saturday morning . The power was back on Saturday night but are cable and internet service was out as well. Went to the outage map to see where the cable and internet outage was . I was communicating with xfinity per text with the outage status. So I kept on getting that the problem in my area has been solve. So tried resetting modum and kept on saying no signal to modum. So I scheduled an appointment for a service tech to come out today 17 of January between 3 and 5 . At 404 my appointment was canceled per maintenance ticket put in because the node that services our area where we had power outage was damaged. So my complaint is no one let my know that my appointment was canceled per text or email due to what was accessed out side my home . So the damage is outside not inside. Had to call xfinity customer service to find out why my appointment was canceled and what was going on with our service. Xfinity need to communicate with there customers in regards to power outages that affect out service!!!! It is very very frustrating. You guys need to improve on that. We pay enough money per month for our services and should be notified instead of us having to wait 15 minutes or more to talk to a human to explain why and what’s going on.
