Comcast/Xfinity Has been at my house unannounced several times this year
In March, a Comcast/Xfinity rep told me that they need access to our backyard within two weeks. That never happened. They never came, and there was no communication. Over the next few months, Comcast/Xfinity would come by our house unannounced or plan because they needed to do work in our backyard. Mostly spray painting where utility lines are and planting flags. None of the Comcast/Xfinity reps were able to give us a time frame in which this work in our yard needed to happen. Months went by, and nothing. Last week, a crew of about 14 Comcast/Xfinity reps came to our house and said it was an emergency that they needed to get into our backyard to work. Again, unannounced, no planning with me. They proceeded to burrow into our front yard to access the box in our backyard. The next day, a Comcast/Xfinity rep came by to "terminate" the line. Again, it was unplanned. Then the following day, another Comcast/Xfinity rep came by unplanned and said something was wrong, but never explained anything.
Here I am today, after months of this unplanned and unannounced work with no way to reach anyone at Comcast/Xfinity because there is no customer service email, and everything else is automated. I have a disability, and I need to be contacted so I can plan for work being done on my property. This is not the way to do business and Comcast/Xfinity should be following ADA law to make reasonable accommodations with people with disabilities. At minimum, a 24-hour heads-up should be considered before going onto someone's property, if not a full week.
I understand Comcast/Xfinity has the easement law on its side. But please try harder for your customers, community, and those with disabilities.

Hi @mikej777 and welcome to our forums! We truly apologize about the multiple inconveniences. That do sound like a ton of activity and getting more information on your story would help us locate the concerns with the multiple visits. We care for our customers and want you all to receive acknowledgment and respect with proper communication on work that may need to be done. When you are saying your backyard, do you mean your private property?

I am curious. How is this impacting your disability? And what ADA law do you think is being abused or broken? Unless your yard is surrounded by fence and there is a locked gate that needs to be accessed, Comcast has the right to access the easement and/or right of way to be able to do their work. Granted, it does seem as though this has been excessive and work should probably have been finished sooner, but I don't see where any of your rights have been violated. Can you explain further?
