Comcast/Xfinity drop removal

Question

I'm not an Xfinity customer currently, but the house we purchased recently has an old Comcast/Xfinity drop box attached to the exterior of the house (it's on overhead service). We are planning on replacing the siding and would like the drop box removed. Could you please advise how to request the removal.
