Comcast won’t install internet to our new construction

We are just finishing our new home construction and Comcast just informed us that would not install internet to our home. Our house shares a driveway with two other homes, which both have Comcast. 

We have tried to communicate with Comcast multiple times and no one can connect us with the engineer who supposedly came out to our job site and determined this.

What was the reason that Comcast won't install internet there?

it was cost prohibitive - 21k. But I haven’t been able to speak to the person who did the survey, view the survey itself, or speak with the engineer who provided the quote.

So you're currently not within a build out area and they're asking that much to bring service to your new build.  Are there any other new builds in the area that might want to share the cost of the build out?  If not, then that's pretty much what you're going to deal with.
