Comcast Technician

Have you ever had a technician start to follow you to your bedroom? Want to see your condiminium's laundry room, or go in your building's utility closet after being told he couldn't go in without being admitted by the complex maintenance man? Turn your tv on by button instead of the remote? Refuse to leave when you told him everything was all-set and he could go? Stand there watching tv with you for a few minutes? This guy wouldnt leave after my service was fixed even when I asked him to. To me, saying to someone they "can go now because you're all set" is the polite way of telling them to leave. This guy wanted to look in my front hall closet, saying he wanted to know something about the cord, to which I said ok but then he started to move and touch my stuff without asking but did say he hoped I didn't mind. I've had technicians out to my house before, but this was the very first time I've ever been scared inside my own home.

Thank you for your response and help. I've never run into anything like this before, and am real bothered by it.  I will say that right before I found this forum, I posted a message on "Tom", giving the details of what happened.

I don't blame you for being upset.  I certainly would.  But, I would have told him that if he didn't leave immediately I would be calling the police to have him removed.

You might be contacted by Tom's office [or not], so don't worry about having done that.
