Comcast tech cut and removed grounding block from coax line
My tenant called Comcast to report poor speed and they sent out a tech. I wasn't home at the time he arrived. The tech replaced the wire to the house and while he was at it removed the grounding block that was wired to an external grounding rod. He just cut it out and ran the coax directly into the house.
When I arrived I asked him why and he said, there is a ground at the utility pole.
Is this a proper install?
My tenant says his speed problem is resolved. However, I doubt it has anything to do with removing the grounding block.
