Comcast service to be terminated by 10/30/2025
After 7 weeks and at least 6 ECM tickets for a reconnection to a new pole and a new line drop and burial, the pole on which Comcast currently has its aerial service will be taken down by 10/30/2025 at which time all homes connected to service through that pole will be disconnected. Comcast has refused to fix this problem. However, since Comcast does not own the pole we are allowed to remove it and Comcast will have to deal with the consequences.

Good afternoon MDO515. I can assure you that is not the experience we want for you or any customer. I would be happy to assist further with this.
Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.

Astounding how bad a company can be at customer service. Really, it’s not even close. Comcast was first notified in May they would need to move their overhead wire and bury a new underground line. Formal ticket first submitted early September. Now 7 weeks and at least 6 tickets still not done. But, their willful ignoring of their obligation will come to an end. Since they do not own the pole on which the current wire sits, and the owner has abandoned the pole, the pole will be taken down (it’s on private property) and all homes connected will be disconnected from Comcast. Seems like that will be the only way to get Comcast to do their work.

I sent a direct message hours ago and…no response. At least Comcast is consistent.
