Comcast scam offer

I was contacted with an offer to lower my Comcast bill by Comcast and the promotion was in conjunction with Target.  I need to talk to someone about getting a refund of the money I sent Comcast attempting to obtain this offer.

Hello. Thank you for reaching out to our team through Communities. It sounds like you were involved in a scam. Here is a link of current scams: https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/alerts. You'll need to get in touch with our Customer Security Assurance team. Here is a link with their information: https://internet-security-site-web.ho-g3.cf.comcast.net/help/report-abuse

@XfinityRose Thank you for your response.  However, neither of these links works.

Are you receiving an error message? The first link should take you to our Customer Security Assurance home page.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Here is what I get with the first link (sorry for the font size).  It is a 404 Bad Request.   For the second page I get this:

That is really odd. I would try a different browser and clear your cache/cookies. Please test this link: https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/

I no longer work for Comcast.

"internet-security-site-web.ho-g3.cf.comcast.net" may be accessible inside Comcast, but it is not accessible on the public Internet. The hostname resolves to a private IP:

C>nslookup internet-security-site-web.ho-g3.cf.comcast.net 75.75.75.75
Name:    cfho-g3p.gslb4.comcast.com
Addresses:  10.112.21.237
                   10.112.21.238
                   10.112.21.236
Aliases:  internet-security-site-web.ho-g3.cf.comcast.net

10.112.21.* addresses are private IPs not accessible to customers. Perhaps the poster meant https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse?

@justforfun : This very nasty scam has been going on for months. See any of the many posts at https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/search?page=1&sortKey=RECENT&q=scam. Customers have lost a lot of money.

A competent company would have posted prominent warnings about a widespread scam that has cheated many and appears to use leaked customer data, but Comcast hasn't bothered to do that. They really should.

@justforfun

If you have gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill the FTC is well aware of this scam.  If you get a call like this you can report it to:     https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
Please help to stop the spread of this kind of fraud.
Thanks!
It's doubtful you'll get a refund from Comcast.
