comcast internet dropping

I have been having dropping issues for 3 months.  Got a new xfi complete modem but internet is still dropping.  I know the issue is the outside cable because I can go out and shake the wire when the internet goes down and the internet comes back on.  No one listens and they want to charge me $100 for a tech to come out.  That is unacceptable when the issue is the outside comcast cable not an indoor issue.  I have also plugged the modem directly into the incoming cable and internet goes out in this case as well.  Don't want to drop comcast, but it becoming a possibility more and more.

Howdy user_ubfa8u

This is a public post. It sounds like there is some inbound drop issues. We can easily take a peek at this.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.
