Comcast Hit My Sewer Line While Drilling
Hello,
Comcast has been drilling for cable placement outside my townhome. On Thursday, February 22nd, we came home to a horrible smell and our downstairs bathroom and laundry room flooded with sewer water. We had to call a plumber to come out the next day and clear out the sewage lines. He found globs of mud that poured in the line from a hole in the pipe outside our home. He said unless the line is fixed, the problem could occur again. I have attached pictures for reference. We had to pay the plumber for his services and have to pay for the flooring in the bathroom and laundry room replaced. This, along with disinfection of the subfloor. Please advise as this is an expensive repair for a causative factor that was not ours.
