Comcast Communication line almost broken

I have a tree the is laying on a Comcast line hanging over my hard waiting to snap. I am trying to figure out how to get in contact with someone from Xfinity/comcast to take car of it before it falls onto my yard/fence/shed.

If the tree is on the line you'll need to get someone out to remove the tree before the line snaps.  Comcast doesn't do tree removal or trimming.  You will be charged for the tree removal.

Good afternoon user_41tva9. I can certainly understand the concern if you have line that is being impacted, or will possibly be impacted by the tree branch or tree itself. I will be happy to assist you further. Are you currently experiencing any issues with your service? Is the line currently causing any safety concerns?

I am not experiencing any outages. but the only thing stopping the tree from hitting the ground is the Comcast line. That line is now compressed in a tree that looks like it grew around the line. It is a serious safety concern because the tree is hanging over my backyard where there are kids and pets that play outside.

Thanks for the clarification, user_41tva9! Since it sounds as though the tree poses an immediate threat to your home's safety, I'd advise reaching out to emergency services. We can also work to get someone out on our end, but they likely wouldn't get out as quickly as first responders. Either way, please send us a direct message with your full name, name on the account (if different), and service address, and we'll get the ball rolling on our end as well!

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message
