Comcast asking for consumer "contribution" of $11k to re-bury cable
The line from the other side of the road to the corner of my property was servered, supposedly in a storm. Comcast is indicating that the cost of re-burying the line will be $15k and they want me ( the home owner) to "contribute" $11k and Comcast will pay $4k to have it repaired. They indicated that servicing it themselves will not allow them to achieve the ROI they are targeting.
From what I have read, the cost to get the cable to the property in an area that is serviced by Comcast is their responsibility.
Looking for help from leadership at Comcast to assess the issue and work with me on the next steps.
