Collection Agency Text - Scam?
Received a text stating my account has been sent to a collection agency, TRUEACCORD. My account is up-to-date and have never missed a payment. Checking my account there is no outstanding debt.
I did not click on the link. I can only assume this is a scam. Please verify this is a scam. Thanks.

You may want to contact the collection company directly to confirm whether they send text messages like this, as it does not appear to be part of the usual process.
You would also have other ways to verify whether you have an outstanding debt with Xfinity, such as using free credit-checking apps that may show any unpaid balances.

I have the same messages from Truaccord. I can't seem to talk to anyone in Comcast to answer my questions. Their chat is no help. I hope someone in Comcast reads these messages, but it doesn't look like it.
