Coax Cable

I’m moving into my girlfriends apartment. Was planning on bringing my internet because she doesn’t have one set up yet. Can’t find a Coax plug in. Asked the landlord and they said to reach out to my internet provider. Can someone install a Coax port in an apartment?

Thanks for getting this moved, @EG!

Hello, @user_7178c8! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! I apologize to hear that you are unable to locate a coax cable in the apartment. We can certainly help you with this!

First, have you checked to make sure there isn't a coax possibly hidden in a closet or in its own little cabinet in the wall?

Second, when we come out to put in a coax cable, we do not wallfish the coax. What we would do is just drill a hole in the outside wall to the inside wall to pass the coax cable that way. You may want to check with the landlord to make sure that would be ok to do.

Third and final, have you check the new address to make sure we service the location? You can do so here.

Thank you for the response! Yes my address is serviced. I have seen some Xfinity cables outside the complex as well. Unfortunately I cannot find a port in the apartment. When I first talked with the landlord they said to talk with my provider. After this response I’ll reach out to them and get approval. I would love to have someone come by and put a cable into the apartment so I can keep the same internet!
