Coax Cable May Not Be Grounded
In the last few years at this address, two of my modems have been fried during lightning storms that shorted through the coax cable. It has always been plugged into a surge protector, and no other devices on that protector or outlet have ever been fried. We believe the coax cable may not be properly grounded outside of our condo, which is a major safety and compliance hazard.
If any Xfinity representatives on this forum are able to assist with scheduling a technician visit to address this problem, I would be very grateful. Thanks!
