Coax cable issue

Me and my family recently moved into a rental that already has an Xfinity coax cables installed from the landlord. However I recently found out that the ends of the coax cables that stick out of the walls inside the house were cut. Can Xfinity techs replace the cables? And will it cost less since the coax cable box is already here?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thank you for reaching out @user_c0q2y1 I am sorry to hear the cables were cut inside the home. With the home currently having services from the landlord, the landlord would need to reach out unless they have added you to the account to manage the services. Is the account in your name or the landlords?

We have our own account after moving in mainly for the internet set up. And the landlord has a whole new set up for Xfinity Home in the residence they currently live in. They just left the old coax box behind with the cables while they were renovating our rental.
