Coax cable installer did not seal the drill point.
I had a Xfinity installer come out to put in a coax cable into my home. This house does not have previous coax wiring. The tech drilled into the wooden siding of the house in order to run the cable into one of the rooms.
He did nothing to seal the hole and did not make a drip loop with the cabling. There is just an unsealed hole in the siding of my house now.
I reached out to Xfinity to have another tech come out to seal the hole and he took a look at it, told me nothing was wrong, and left.
Does this need to be sealed? There is nothing keeping water out of the hole in my house.

Good evening, @user_noyk9x! Thank you for reaching out about the coax line coming into your home. I do normally see the line have weather housing around it as you were thinking as well. I would be happy to help further with this.
