Closing my comcast.net email account??

I have tried every way possible to keep my email account from closing since it's saying it's inactive.   I have followed the steps to keep this from happening but i keep getting emails saying my email account will close shortly.   I looked everywhere for a number to call to speak with a live person since the phone assistant keeps looping me back around to the same thing and doesn't help.

Please assist.  I have multiple other sign in's that use my comcast.net email as the verified email address.  I do not want to have to change this.

Hello there! We can certainly assist more in detail. Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address. Please include the email address in question as well. 

 

To send a direct message: 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
