Closed Captions Missing

The closed captions are missing from the movie “The Dog Stars” which I purchased today. (This is true when watching through my Xfinity box as well as my iPad.) I understand that occasionally new-to-digital films come without captions because of issues with the content distributor or other technical glitches. Will my purchase be automatically updated with captions if/when the issue is resolved?

Thank you for your help.

user_oqizuc Thanks for creating a post and for bringing this to our attention. I can certainly understand needing closed captions, both for accessibility and just to avoid missing what they are whispering, or when your kid wants to sing karaoke during movie night. 😀 The title should auto-update so you wouldn't have to do any additional steps or separate purchases. I apologize for the inconvenience, and we can report the issue for further review.

Thank you so much for responding so quickly. I have mild hearing loss, and the subtitles help tremendously. I’ll check back in a few weeks to see if the title has updated.
