close account and collection

I have called Xfinity 5 times since I moved out of my previous apartment. Every time I had to spend more than 30 minutes on the line with some strange people who would not answer my request directly. Then every time they promise me my account is completely closed, and the balance is cleared, I do not have to worry about it. There is no other way for me to contact Xfinity except for calling this customer service that does nothing but lying!!!!!

I do not have any equipment from Xfinity, and the charge happened after I moved out. But after a couple of months, I got this collection notice, and I am extremely frustrated by this situation. I am concerned that this will go on my credit report!!!!!!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH XFINITY????????

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us: 
 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send your message
