Clarifying Service Availability

I’m moving to a new address in semi-rural Western Maryland in about a month and would love to continue the Xfinity service I’ve used for the last seven years. When I check the address, it says it’s outside of the footprint. Maryland’s broadband map says it is available. Is there a way to determine if this is actually outside the footprint or just an issue of never having been serviced before?

Thank you for reaching out to us @GhostXIII! Our team can certainly take a further look! Could you please send us a direct message with your full name, current address, and new address? To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area
