Check Ticket Status

I had an appointment set for this morning due to a down wire caused by the storm on Friday. Last night I got a text that the appointment was canceled. After fighting with the ivr to get a live person I was told that the issue affected a lot of people so they combined all of the individual tickets into one storm related ticket. Iwas given ticket number (Edited for violating forum guidelines) and told that the issue is being prioritized because it was caused by the storm. Is there a way to get a status update?

user_7b9496 Yes, you can get a status update on your appointment by using the Xfinity app or by logging into your account online. You can periodically check the app to see if your service has been restored or sign up for automatic service restoration notifications. If you would like us to take a closer look at your account please send a direct message with the ticket number. 
 

To send a "Direct Message" message:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

@XfinityChristy​ I received a text last night saying that my appointment had been canceled. I sent a direct message as suggested.
