Chat transcript

In early November 2022, Xfinity agent convinced me to Take a phone line . So that they can reduce my internet bill. The chat agent told me , with phone line and internet would be only $43 . Then I took the service to reduce my bill . But  Xfinity is charging me more $60 per month . None of the agents ( I called multiple times) couldn’t solve it .

today one agent told me, total charge will be $60 something for internet and $20+ for phone .

I didn’t need a phone . The chat agent lied to me to give me a phone line by saying my charge will be only $43 all together.

I have the chat ID and chat agent name and some screenshots of chat.

I am thinking of getting an attorney to sue/solve the issue since Xfinity lies to me .

How do I get full chat transcript ?. Can my attorney get the transcript?

Hello @user_a2a006. I am sad to hear about your experience with us, and I would like to look into this with you. If you did not delete the chat you had, you should have full access to it still. An attorney should be able to obtain them. If I can look into this with you, please send me a direct message with your first and last name, along with your complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.   

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary 
  • Click the direct message icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
  • Press Enter to send your message

@XfinityAaron​  I have screenshots for part of the discussion. I need to obtain full transcript. So that i can proceed legally . My question is:

can you provide me my chat transcript if I request?

or my attorney has to file complaint in the court to request full transcript?

I have exact same problem, xfinity did [Edited: "Inflammatory"] get me into xfinity mobile . Which I had to stop using after 4months due to a bad internet service. Now xfinity started charting me around 60$ + 

I did ask agent before signing contract, I'm I good to come out of xfinity mobile but still maintain my full discount . He confirmed me 2 times and have chat screenshots.

user_a2a006 - Let me know, I got this bundle as well in may, 2022. 

@xfinityAaron - Your company needs to stop this false promises to get additional customers to sign up internet deals. let us know how to file official complain on this . I would like to get this started asap.
