chat feature is down

I've been trying since 8am to get a response from the xfinity virtual assistant.  I will get a response, then ask my question and then get an error saying message can't be delivered.  I've tried it on the app too and get the same problem.  I've sent a message to Xfinity support too.  I need to set up a payment arrangement and can't get through to anyone on chat.
