Changing location of in-store pickup after an order has been placed

I am a new Xfinity customer and I placed an order for an internet plan. I am moving soon to a new state and I wanted internet for my new apartment.

On my original order I indicated that I wanted to pick up my new modem and router in-store in the state I am currently living in. However, when I went to the store they said I couldn't use that equipment and that I needed to pick it up in my new state.

I am fine with picking the equipment up at the Xfinity store in my new state, but I am just wondering how I can modify my original order to change the pickup location to that store instead of the original store? I couldn't find any options for that on my account. Thanks!

Good evening, @user_057483. Congratulations on your new place! We appreciate that you are moving with us! We do not attach a specific store location to pick up equipment so the order would not need to be updated. It just has to be a store in your new region as our equipment cannot cross regions. This link is the Xfinity Store Locator. You will want to bring your photo ID to the store with you. The agent will look up your order and give you the needed equipment. It is a very easy process, I promise! Do you have any other questions about your order? When do you think you will be visiting the store?
